Our Story
About Us
Skydive Fiji, the first tandem skydiving company in Fiji, was founded by Tim and Susan Joyce. The couple launched operations in Nadi on April 14, 2004, identifying a unique business opportunity for adventure tourism in a market previously lacking such activities.
The Joyces registered their business, relocated from Australia to Fiji in 2004, and brought with them a specially modified 6-seater Cessna aircraft for their operations. Despite initial skepticism from those who saw Fiji as a “flop and drop” destination, the concept of tandem skydiving was warmly welcomed by the Tourism Fiji stakeholders.
On June 8, 2004, Tim made the company’s inaugural tandem jump over Denarau, offering a thrilling 60-second free-fall at 200km/hr with a breathtaking view of the Mamanuca Island, followed by a 7-8 minute scenic parachute ride.
Skydive Fiji, after its humble beginnings, continues to flourish. It currently employs around 12 staff members, mostly locals, with the exception of Tandem Instructors. Skydive Fiji maintains an impeccable safety record and significantly contributes to the Fijian economy’s tourism sector each year.

With a collective fleet of 16 aircraft, the group is optimally positioned to provide a wide range of aviation services. These services encompass helicopter and airplane charters across Fiji, international corporate jet facilitation (FBO), medical evacuation coordination, Search & Rescue operations, aerial filming and photography, pilot training, disaster relief efforts for Government & NGOs, tandem skydiving, guest services, and more.

Our Fleet
We have a specially modified Cessna in our fleet of skydiving aircraft, equipped with a powerful Continental IO-550 fuel-injected engine that allows for rapid ascents to high altitudes. It also features a custom-built in-flight opening door, providing not only a comfortable skydiving experience but also an excellent vantage point for aerial photography.
This Cessna is equipped with a custom-made in-flight opening door, facilitating stress-free skydiving operations. Our GA-8 has a bespoke sliding door, ensuring easy and comfortable exits. The Cessna can accommodate up to two tandem pairs and an additional camera person per load. The larger GA-8 TC320 Air Van has the capacity to carry twice the load of our current Cessna, comfortably transporting up to 8 jumpers at once – for instance, 3 tandem pairs along with two freefall photographers.

Thrills & Views of a Lifetime
Hands down one of the best experiences of my life. CJ was AMAZING – he explained all the equipment and their uses as well as the safety features that are in place. He explained how everything was going to go down and what to expect. I recommend this to EVERYONE. They got us our photos and video so quickly after we were done, they also took us prior to our scheduled time. They were overall very professional and friendly. Doing this again if we were to ever come back to Fiji.

Be a Legend and book a sky dive! It’s amazing!
We had the most amazing experience with Sky Dive Fiji. My son has always wanted to Sky Dive and I never had any desire to (I do not like the feeling of falling, like jumping off any height). After seeing sky diving was available in Fiji, I looked it up and read the reviews. They were so good I decided to not only send him but to jump too! Why not jump out of a plane strapped to someone I just met! 24 hours later I still am amazed we did it. Tim & CJ were fantastic. Felt totally safe and excited at the same time. The views were out of this world. My son was ready to book another jump as soon as we landed. The sensation was nothing like jumping from a height (thankfully!). It was only those first few seconds after leaving the plane that I thought what am I doing?! The free fall from 13000 feet was the best. Glad we went with the higher choice. Once you settle in to the free fall you still have time to really enjoy it. Highlight for me was free falling through a cloud for a moment. I’ll never forget that! So glad we got the video package. Amazing to be able to relive the whole experience from start to finish. Highly recommend Sky Dive Fiji. Couldn’t be a better place on earth to sky dive!

SkyDive Fiji is amazing from the booking process, to the the actual Jump! Very friendly staff and awesome instructors!!!! I had Kitsch and it was my first time, made me feel very comfortable and his knowledge and experience made me feel confident. Everything about this whole adventure is and was perfect for me. The people, the experience and definitely the views!!!!! You won’t see a better view I promise! We landed on the beach which was even more awesome!!! It’s a must do when down in Fiji!!!!! BULA!!!!
